Starting a Dance Ministry: Prepare Now or Repair Later This seminar covers the spiritual and practical aspects needed to effectively start a dance ministry with a focus on starting on a strong foundation. Requirements for leaders will be discussed as well as what should be done before the first practice is ever announced.
Dance in the Word In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. – John 1:1 Effective dance ministry will be birthed out of relationship with HIM….our creator. We know HIM through HIS word. This seminar will examine the different examples of dance in the scriptures and well as evaluate the Hebrew and Greek words used to define dance / movement
Both are geared towards new dance ministries (1 year or less)
Mime Instruction: Never said a mumblin Word This seminar takes a look at the fundamental truth of mime – expressing an idea or though without words. Discussion on the scriptural principals and examples of "mime" in the Word of God and the spiritual requirements of a mime minister.
Braided Worship A survey of song, dance, and instruments and how they were used together in the bible. 2 Chronicles 5:13 records an awesome manifestation of God's presence when the people came together as one. The purpose of the session is to bring a greater understanding of corporate worship.
W-W-What? Getting your ministry on the Internet In this information age, it is important that we use all tools at our disposable to spread the gospel. This includes the Internet. This session will cover the importance of having a website, Internet terminology, pitfalls to avoid, and basic steps to starting and maintaining a ministry website.
